CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 2012--
GATX Corporation (NYSE:GMT) announced that Eric D. Harkness has been
appointed vice president, treasurer and chief risk officer.
Previously, Mr. Harkness was vice president and chief risk officer. Mr.
Harkness began his career with GATX in 2007 as a senior investment risk
officer. Prior to joining GATX, Mr. Harkness held a variety of roles
within the financial services industry.

Mr. Harkness received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from
Indiana University and his Masters of Business Administration from The
University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Certified Public
Accountant, a CFA charterholder and a member of the Investment Analysts
Society of Chicago.
