GATX Corporation Announces Appointment of Chief Information Officer

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2008--GATX Corporation today announced that Michael T. Brooks has been appointed senior vice president and chief information officer, responsible for all of GATX's information technology activities.

Mr. Brooks joins GATX from Constellation Energy where he served as retail energy chief information officer and vice president. Prior to Constellation, he spent five years as a business systems consultant with Accenture and with Oracle Corporation, and five years as a consultant with The Barrington Consulting Group in Washington, DC.

Mr. Brooks received his bachelor of arts in economics degree from the University of Georgia in 1992 and his masters of business administration from the American University in 1998.
