Mr. Kenney was elected Chairman of the Board of GATX in October 2005 after having been elected Chief Executive Officer in April 2005 and President in October 2004. He was elected Senior Vice President in 2002; Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1999; and previously held the position of Vice President – Finance in 1998. He joined GATX in 1995 as Treasurer. Prior to joining GATX, Mr. Kenney was Managing Director, Corporate Finance and Banking for AMR Corporation, which he joined in 1990 as a principal in its Corporate Finance group. Previously he held financial positions with United Airlines and Morton International, Inc. Mr. Kenney received his BBA from the University of Notre Dame in 1981 and his MBA in Finance in 1983 from the University of Michigan. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Shedd Aquarium, where he is a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Audit Committee. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Kellogg Institute of International Studies at the University of Notre Dame. |
